Grow Financial

First Steps Start Here

Campaign

2025
TV
For their 2025 campaign, we delivered Grow a way to talk to anyone on the cusp of their next big life moment.

“Big,” of course, being subjective. Be they first time homebuyers or a couple yearning for a vacation, expectant parents or the best-friend-to-be of a particularly cute terrier, our aim was to couple Grow Financial with that first step toward their goal.

Our ads utilized a buttery effect logic to boast where a Grow product might take you, leaning into the joy of the finish line. We kept the design as simple as the sentiment, highlighting the first step with a simple accent color and pairing bold-set headlines with photography that aimed to capture authentic moments.

To get our message seen beyond traditional media, we decided to interpret our “First Steps Start Here” line literally. We sponsored first steps throughout our community, greeting shoppers, museum goers, soccer fans, and transit riders alike with a branded first step. An eye-catching reminder that small businesses don’t open without a first step, and neither do burgeoning fans become season ticket holders.

A first step with Grow Financial can lead you to a myriad of winning outcomes. So moving from static to motion placements, we capitalized on our headline schematic by turning them into mad libs. Across HTML5 and animated OOH, our ads showed how one Grow product might lead to any number of dream scenarios.

With the larger canvas offered by web and social we revealed more detailed journeys across our creative. We introduced a new timeline motif to do so, expanding our core schematic to include the stages between the first step and the reached goal. Often, that goal is just another step ahead of a more significant, less expected moment.
