Two-Color Lockup



This new logo suite for Grow Financial rehouses their hallmark leaf in a bold and concise format for modern versatility.

Spurred by a drive to increase legibility and brevity into their branding, the uppercase characters of this new wordmark combine with bold weighting to produce a lockup that maintains clear, punchy legibility at all scales. Along with the sprouting leaf, we’ve utilized rounded corners and intensified the curving tails of the base Filson typeface to maintain an air of playful approachability in the simplified wordmark.

The leaf also gains newfound solo prominence in the logomark, where its role as counter to the workmark “O” is reversed, finding the sprout in haloed light.

Our design of the new logo system kept the variety and unpredictability of in-use scenarios top of mind, as inspired by familiarity with Grow’s branding over time. We prepared two- and one-color specific versions, with attention to negative space rendering, as well as layouts for use in excessively large, small, tall, or wide spaces. The result is a small, stress tested family that’s straightforward to use and easy to spot.
